Black Friday at Vol de Coloms

Black Friday madness is back. The week or day of discounts that begins the Christmas shopping season.

Black Friday started in the city of Philadelphia in 1950. On November 29, an American football game was to be played between the Army and the Navy. This event brought people from all over who before the game, start their Christmas shopping. There was so much chaos that all the police forces had to work more than 12 hours. After that busy day, the police themselves named the day as Black Friday.

What for some was a problem for others was a great advantage. The businesses of Philadelphia made a lot of money and did not let that opportunity go to waste. So they took the name the police gave that day and started doing Black Friday every year. A few years later, this day of discounts and purchases became popular throughout the United States and in recent years, it has reached us.

At Vol de Coloms we did not want to join the Black Friday trend and we do not do any special promotion for this date. We want to add value to our product and do not enter into a price war. We care about giving a quality product and for this reason we cannot make big discounts on the balloon flight. For us the most important thing is to be able to offer a perfect experience, with the best products and the best service.

The only thing we do at Vol de Coloms is lower the price in our low seasons. We have different promotions: weekday promotions, active all year and promotions for the months of January and February.

A discount to make everyone enjoy hot air balloon and when it seems that we shouldn’t fly. For example, January and February, month that we have spectacular visibility to see the Pyrenees, the Roses golf, Montserrat, Montseny and Pedraforca in front of us and always with the Garrotxa volcanoes below us.
