It is very common to go for a walk at sunset with your partner, friends or family. We do some sport, enjoy the outdoors and talk about how the day went. At Vol de Coloms we really like this concept, and that’s why we’re delighted to offer a balloon ride in Catalonia.

Our facilities are located in the heart of the Garrotxa volcanic area. From this point is where our private walk begins, a little different from what we are used to. Like every walk, we know where we’re starting from, but we never quite know for sure which route we’ll take. The same thing happens with the balloon ride in Catalonia, we know take off in Santa Pau, but we never know where we will land. It will be the wind that will take us to one place or another.

This time allows us to enjoy the free air and the nature of the region as we were walking around the region. We can see the volcanoes, the beech forests, the mountains of the high Garrotxa and the Pyrenees, the farming areas and the villages that are spread over the territory. Of course, from a very different perspective than we would have from the ground.

A walk is always more entertaining with company, which is why we have to encourage family and friends to share the balloon flight with them. Spend a unique and different time with these people we love. Being able to talk, but instead of touching the ground, do it to 1,500 teachers and with the volcanoes under our feet.

In order to complete the concept of the daily walk, we miss sport. We haven’t forgotten about that part, you can always help us collect the hot air balloon.
