Tree house accommodation with kids

Early in the morning, (between 6:30 and 8:00, according to the season), you will live the experience of flying in a balloon over the volcanoes.

As you got up very early, once at the Vol de Coloms facilities, we invite you to have a coffee, some juices and some pastries, while you watch the preparation and assembly of the balloon. You know what? If you want, you can help us!

Both, adults and children are impressed to see the majestic sail inflate, a whole spectacle of colors! Seeing the burner burning and the image of the flames is surprising for children.

All our baskets have a door, so, they are accessible to all types of public.

The ballon flight lasts 1h30m aproximately. During the trip, we are passengers of the wind and we fly over La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. We contemplate its sleeping volcanoes, while we savor a glass of cava, juicesand a slice of a savoury local cake, coca de llardons.

Do not forget to bring the camera and let the children take aerial photos to remember this balloon flight with the family.

Children like to see animals and houses from the sky. This is usually their first experience with the bird's eye perspective. It may be a good time to explain how volcanoes, geography and cardinal points formed.

Once back on solid ground, our ground team, who have been following our flight, pick us up in a 4×4 vehicle and take us to enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast of bread and tomato, Santa Pau haricot beans and botifarra a catalan national dish, desserts from Cooperativa la Fageda, wine and ratafia, a local herbal liquor.

Finally, we give you a flight diploma signed by the pilot.

And after the adventure of riding a balloon you can enjoy a tree house accommodation with kids and go to the Cabanyes entre Valls, in La Garrotxa. It's located in la Vall de Bianya, a half an hour far from Vol de Coloms.

There you will find the Quintanic Tree House, perfect to be with family. It is a wooden house that has a traditional wooden structure and where the little ones will have a great time. It is divided into two floors and is ideal for an unforgettable experience sleeping and having breakfast at 6 meters high.

The garret, the space designed for the little ones, has two single beds and in the lower floor is the living room, the bathroom with a shower and the main room with a double bed.

This cabin is located 5 minutes walk from the farmhouse where you will find complementary services such as Wi-Fi, living room and restaurant.

One night includes: dinner the night before, sleep, breakfast, bedding, towels, amenities and flashlights.

The treehouse for children will be a fun and original experience!
