Can Menció is a pension, located in the arched main square of the old village, has 12 double rooms and one family room. All of them has a private bathroom. It has two buildings: one in the same square and another 100 m from the main building called Les Costes, a house that has a swimming pool in the summer.

Can Menció pension also has a living room with a fireplace and a terrace with views.

Can Menció in Santa Pau does not have a restaurant. However you can go to one of the restaurants in town. There you can taste different typical dishes of volcanic cuisine.

What you will find on the ground floor of the same accommodation is a cafeteria and a pastry shop. It is the only one in Santa Pau and under the shadow of the laps, you can contemplate the Plaza Mayor tasting one of its sandwiches or cakes.

The Can Menció pension is 10 minutes far from our facilities.

In the morning (between 6:30h and 8:00, according to the season), you will live the experience of flying in a balloon over the volcanoes.

As you will have gotten up very early, once at the Vol de Coloms facilities, we invite you to have a coffee and some pastries, while you watch the preparation and assembly of the balloon.

All our baskets have doors, therefore, they are accessible to all types of public.

The balloon flight lasts 1h30m approximately. We are passengers of the wind and we will fly over the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxawith its sleeping volcanoes. Meanwhile, we toast with cavaand try a slice of coca de llardons, a delicious local cake. We contemplate the landscape from a bird's eye view, floating in the air in calm and silence.

Once the flight is over, the ground team will pick us up in a 4x4 and we will together make a good country breakfast with bread with tomato and sausage and beans from Santa Pau with sausage, wine, water, desserts from the Cooperativa la Fageda, coffees and ratafía tasting.

To finish, we deliver the flight diploma, signed by the pilot.

 

The Cabanes als arbres, an hour away, in the Massís de Les Guilleries, where you will enjoy a stay in direct contact with the tree. The experience of a night sleeping in a nest located in the framework of branches of a beautiful tree.

You can access the cabin in a fun way, using a suspension bridge and / or a vertical staircase. The cabins are rounded and have 30 m2 of surface.

To preserve the environment as much as possible, the cabins do not provide electricity or running water. Each cabin has flashlights, portable lamps, water, and a sink.

The WC is biodegradable and is recycled in composting form.

In the evening, they will bring you a dinner and, the next morning, they will bring you breakfast with a basket in the same cabin.
